NEWS: German Defence Minister resigns over plagiarism scandal

After intense pressure the German Defence Minister, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg was forced to resign once it cam to light that he had copied half of his doctoral dissertation word for word. The University that awarded the doctorate has withdrawn it and his position was seen as compromised - how could he lecture troops about matter of honesty in his official position, after these accusations.
